I read MIKE STONE tonight. Wow, mesmerizing poetry. I know his themes are sour white as a full moon or pitch black as midnight and sometimes his verses speak God and creation, his satire taunts creation and his metaphor haunts evil to brighten from dark to light. His imagery talks to descendants of David and Goliath. He wrote on petals, he spat lyrics on tree leaves and signature poetry on the red clay earth of this world and poetry washes the dirty laundry of history , digital forests and life .STONE slings poetic vibe to the unrepentant, to the dead and sleeping living to rise and face the traumatizing realities of the modern world, his poems exorcise bended grandsons and demon cursed daughters from the clutches of lies and the devil. The verses are fat with reason and live spirit. MIKE STONE is a laureate of words and maestro of letters. Tonight, TIME OF THE POET REPUBLIC is gratified feature Prolific American Poet Mike Stone. We enjoy to engage and walk along lanterns of literacy and candles of poesy by the Iconic Mike Stone.

Wholesomely, NOTHING REMEMBERS is a paradox of life, death and resurrection as seen in seasons of life ,in the aging , as seen in the sunrise and sunset, so EVERYTHING REMEMBERS that becomes in the paradox of Michael Dickel’s NOTHING REMEMBERS. My argument is there is nothing called nothing, even void is full of something even if that something is emptiness. Nothing Remembers is a deep paradox of existence and non-existence, or nonexistence in existence. NOTHING REMEMBERS , the title is a complex analogy of the world found in Michael Dickel’s poesy and that is artistically synchronized by the visual art oil painting Angel of Time, which is the cover jacket of the , remember time depicts age and agelessness , existence , spirituality , memory and hope . All these factors are captured in NOTHING REMEMBERS. When you remember an incident , the first flicker of your memory is TIME , so the use of the visual art ANGEL OF TIME on the book cover synchronizes presentation , literary swag , artistic dexterity, reason ,morality and depth of detail ,etiquette, personal experience ,travelogue and deep personal reflections.

Mother Africa survived the trauma of clanging chains of captivity during SLAVE TRADE , shackles of colonialism and winced from beatings of hard bolt nut clenched fists of apartheid. Children and grandchildren of Mother Africa watched helplessly her sorrowful dance to the acoustics of sufferance. Still , Africa remain resilient against beauty - smashing punches from kindred’s of neo-colonialism : global village, digital revolution and consumerism .Mama Africa’s groin is ripped apart by her triplets totalitarian regimes, economic malaise and moral decadence. Today Mother Africa of pyramids , Africa of Nefertiti , Africa of Lumumba , Africa of Mandela ,Africa of Kambarage , Africa of Lithium , Africa of diamond and Africa of uranium wallow in murky waters of poverty ,chronic civil wars and deadly epidemics .Young and established poets contributing to this Brave Voices Poetry Journal 65 Edition, AFRICA IS A POETRY REPUBLIC dipped pen tongues into dimples and crevices of our Mother Africa . The poetic tongues then spat their snort of satire and the saliva of paradox onto our mental inboxes. Tonight, we are pilgrims to the poetry gods and goddesses, we trudge through shrines of metaphor, altars of irony, mountains of hyperbole and forests of rhythm until we reach to the zenith of the POETRY REPUBLIC-Africa .( Editor of Brave Voices Poetry Journal).
A global literary voices Collective(ATUNIS GALAXY ANTHOLOGY ) – 2019 comes as a prelude to sensations of contemporary art and embodies the values and individual literary work of poets. Such a magic universe of word styles attracts all of us towards the ridges and valleys of muses and fantasies, it leads you towards western horizons, it succumbs you in the deepest quarters of pleasure, it gives, brings a renaissance towards the sunrise with morning dew, takes you towards skies of flying birds, the skies which are radiant in the shining lights of fiery stars and always embraces and impresses all of us without even noticing it within the gravity of sentiments, eloquence and greatness of artistic thoughts. Literature as a component of cultural description of all times, has emerged through a myriad number of shapes and forms and all this surge has only one objective, that of reflecting thoughts of essence throughout all times, as well as unraveling metaphysical subjects for more development, for more prosperity and social emancipation. In this context and within a variety of genres that have been shaped, here comes today the sculpture of our ideas, in order to discuss and serve as a mirror image of literary summaries which have been published here, lights and shadows of concepts, although it may always come against us- Agron Shele - The Editor in Chief.
Michael Dickel works to move beyond the edges of understanding—combining language, imagery, philosophy, theory, life, politics, and sound in musical landscapes of words that seek to articulate the felt sense of the world.
